Netflix has announced an expansion of its Premium plan features amid the rollout of its password sharing crackdown.

The new features include an increase in the number of download devices, from four to six, as well as the availability of spatial audio on more than 700 of the streaming service’s top-watched titles, including the likes of Wednesday and Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery.

Users can find Netflix’s supported spatial audio content by typing ‘spacial audio’ into the search bar on Netflix to see a complete list of all of the movies and shows that have been upgraded or by looking out for a new spatial audio badge that will appear alongside supported titles.

In addition, Netflix is ​​upping the number of download devices available to Premium plan members. The company is now allowing subscribers who are signed up to its most expensive tier to download content on up to six devices at a time – two more than was previously permitted.

These new features are available at no additional cost for members who are already on the Premium plan, choose to upgrade, or are signing up for the first time, though some people may be considering canceling their Netflix subscription altogether given recent changes.

Netflix has now unveiled its plans to prevent password sharing, as the company aims to crack down on people using one account across different households. The account-sharing restrictions and extra members fees will likely roll out in more countries by the end of March.
