Q: How do I upgrade R4i?
A: Download the new kernel and extract the file, then there will be a "SYSTEM" folder and r4.DAT a core file, paste the files into the root directory of the TF card to replace the original kernel file.

Q: When I enter the game, there appears a black screen or white screen!
A:

1. After the official test: can enter 0001--5821 successfully (v1.4 kernel), with no black or white screen phenomenon (a small amount of games may have black screen or white screen phenomenon after the completion of loading, this condition is normal). Individual games have anti-burn recording functions, such as 3538, you need to do anti-burn patch or turn on the archive check avoiding code of "Action Replay Cheat" . Then if you still have problems of black or white screen, first check the ROM (because a lot of ROMs are Bad dump), please re-download to try it.
2. In individual game, you need to close the soft reset to enter the game normally, and you can turn off the soft reset and try again. In the official 5821 tested games, there are no more than 20 games need to have the soft reset turned off. So, in order to use easily, soft reset is open by default.
3. As for new games, if you still cannot enter the game after turning off the soft reset, please try to press and hold button A to enter the game.
